If you've came here to download software...

Since RovoScape.com has been inactive for a rather long time, I've finally decided to scale down the web site somewhat. Due to cleanup a lot of stuff has been now taken offline. Many of the popular things remain for download but I won't be modifying them any longer. Stuff you may find here:

ActiveCandy
acnd2001.exe - ActiveCandy 2001 setup file
ac35vb6.zip - ActiveCandy 3.5
acmanual.zip - ActiveCandy 3.5 Manual

YabEdit
yabed2005f.exe - YabEdit 2005 setup file

RovoClock
rvclock1.zip - RovoClock 1.0 setup file

TopPad
toppad10.zip - TopPad 1.0 setup file

DIZPad
dizpad10.zip - DIZPad 1.0 setup file

You can also find more software at edwardblake.name which are web and music related.

If you've came here to complain about emails...

If you get spam or other offensive and unwanted emails that happen to have "rovoscape.com" in the From field, this is known as forged emails, email spoofing or "Joe jobbing". These emails have never originated from this server in the first place, are forged by automated software on millions of computers infected with viruses, and therefore I have no control over these. These forged emails are not written by hand and are basically an automated attack using random email addresses collected from files on infected computers (such as any software text files, various documents, and other emails). There is a lot of information on this type of problem:

As a note to other software developers out there, it is not 1996 anymore, do not add your email address to your text files of your software packages, always use a web site link with a contact form instead. Being installed on several thousands of computers, your email address will most likely get picked up by worms such as Klez and Sobig and then propagated between infected machines, ensuring your address will never be erased from that zombie machine "network" until email itself ceases to exist.
